What’s the news?

— The teacher is a presenter
— The students are «journalists’
Procedure: The class is divided into pairs or groups of three. Each group represents a newspaper. So, the students are journalists who work for a newspaper specializing in a certain sphere of life (sports, politics, economics, culture, etc.). The teacher tells them which newspaper they work for. The list of newspapers can also be placed on the board. Then, the teacher writes three words on the board. The journalists are to make up news using the words given. The students have a few minutes to write a short article. After that the groups present their news to the class. All the three words should be included in the journalists’ report.
