This is one of my favourite novels, which either I had read in Russian and had watched a latest movie (Of course with favourite actors namely Colin Firth and Kira Nightly)! Moreover, being pretty fond of the style of Jane Austen, I can declare that it was amusement for experiencing my first reading in English particularly this novel.
I am not really a fan of J. Austen but I liked this novel very much! Starting from the middle approximately it got really interesting and exciting. I just could not stop till I reached the end. The novel is just perfect!
If you the most important things to say do be a little more of an old lady is a very happy birthday
I used to be very sceptic about this book before I even read it. As it appears It is so much more than a story of a conquest for a good marriage.
It was somehow boring, but it is still worth reading. Ladies’ characteristics will teach you what a beautiful mannerism is.
Если уровень Вашего английского "продолжающий", то книга приятна для чтения, хотя в каждой главе пару раз приходится обращаться к словарю.
Книга захватывает читателя описанием своей эпохи, а точнее ее приятной стороны (быт аристократии, балы, поместья, прогулки по роскошным садам и т.д.)
